Bio
Carol Adams is a mother of three, a police officer, and the founder of the Carol Adams Foundation. At age 17, Carol was thrust into the role of caretaker for herself and her younger sister after her mother was murdered by her father. This tragedy changed the trajectory of her life. For the past 27 years she has worked in public safety to assist and protect victims of domestic violence. To expand her efforts in this area Carol established the Carol Adams Foundation in 2014 with the mission to provide emergency assistance to women, men, and children who are victims of domestic violence. Her organization has numerous programs to support and empower victims of domestic violence.

When I think of Ms. Carol, the words courageous, determined, persistence, as well as perseverance come to mind. She is a woman who is led by faith and who leads by example. She is truly one of the most amazing, humbling, human beings you can ever hope to have the the pleasure of knowing. Ms. Carol is truly a blessing to the community.
