Valerie McCloud is the founder of Foxfire Consulting, a Richmond, Virginia based change management consulting company. She is also the founder of the ‘We Stand Undivided’ initiative, bringing people together from different backgrounds including race, religion, nationality, gender identity, disability, and sexual orientation; to stand “UNDIVIDED.” Standing UNDIVIDED means actively helping to loosen the grip of hate and divisiveness by directly and deliberately treating each other in ways that are positive, kind, and that speak to our humanity.
With over 20 years of local, state, and federal government working experience and industry experience in organizational change management and project management (successfully managing change initiatives and projects from smaller operational changes to large-scale, complex enterprise-wide change), Valerie has worked with individuals / groups from executive leadership, to elected officials, to frontline employees and every level in between. She has facilitated retreats and workshops at the local and federal level, including ‘Managing Change for Better Project Outcomes.’ She is excellent working with diverse teams and building collaboration.
Valerie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and minor in Spanish. She is a certified Prosci® Change Practitioner. She is a certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer and coach. She’s held the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification since 2005 and has earned the Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).
Valerie also holds certificates in the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, the MBE Executive Management Program, and the MBE Leadership Academy. She is a certified yoga instructor, self-proclaimed consignment shopping guru, and is active in the ‘We Stand Undivided’ initiative promoting inclusiveness and unity.
