57_ Perception is Reality with Ombretta Mancini
Have you ever reacted to feedback in a way that changed your life in a very positive and meaningful way?
In this episode you’ll hear a chapter of Live a Bold Life: Your 30-Day Mission to a Fearless Future that recounts the time when Patricia Brooks (your host) was called a wallflower and how her response led her down to write this exciting new book. You’ll also learn techniques that will help you receive feedback in ways that open you up to seeing and taking advantage of more opportunities.
Ombretta Mancini joins me and shares her side of the story and why she called Patricia a wallflower.
Bio
Ombretta Mancini, ACC, ELI-MP
Owner, Certified Team and Leadership Coach
Own Your Step Consulting
Watford, UK
After more than 20 years in the business and corporate world, working for companies that cared more about profits than people, Ombretta knew she wanted to work with companies dedicated to a mission bigger than themselves, who cared about their people and about giving back.
As a Certified Team and Leadership Coach & Facilitator, Ombretta loves working with family owned businesses because of the crucial role they play their communities. She feels honoured to help support their missions, broaden their reach and ensure their legacy. Through Own Your Step, she works to inspire businesses to develop leaders, build teams and grow vibrant, engaging workplace cultures that feel good and do good.
And in the spirit of giving back, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for our privileged position in this world, every year Own Your Step chooses to donate time and/or money to two charitable initiatives. Our Good Karma efforts for this year are to donate 2% of all our earnings to Surfers Against Sewage and donate our time to Shaw Trust, coaching people back into the workforce.
When she’s not helping organisations be awesome, you can find her at weekly music jams with her
husband, exploring the London food scene, listening to live music, reading, travelling, learning, and
napping … whenever possible.
Loved this!
