193 It was something I had to do for Myself with Kenna Williams
“Are you living your life or are you stagnating?” this is the question this week’s guest, Kenna Williams, asks to help you break free from simply going through the motions in life. She speaks from experience; after a twenty year career as an aerospace engineer, she left that role and moved to South Africa, where she is exploring, finding herself, and loving life.
Bio
Ms. Williams, founder of Kenna L Williams, LLC, conducted the infamous Dubai Blackout trips as a hobby; friends soon convinced her to turn her passion of showing friends the world into something greater and inspire others, outside of her network, to travel. Kenna, who has been featured in Essence Magazine, the Huffington Post, and various other outlets, is known as the creator of the trademarked phrase #BookDatIsht and is one of the survivors of the Panama 13 accident of 2015.
Kenna is an aerospace engineer by degree but her real passion is exploration as she is a descendant of Matthew Henson, the explorer. She hosts several group trips throughout the year and she provides travel consulting and planning plus private hire. Kenna hails from the United States and is currently living in South Africa.
